About Young Adult Transition Fund

By 2028, 1/3 of the children currently at Dorie’s Promise will be older than 18 and in need of support as they transition into adulthood.

Young adults require a different kind of care—one that balances independence with guidance. They need opportunities to learn how to navigate the adult world, along with a solid foundation to build upon.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Young Adult Transition Fund. This initiative will empower our young adults to pursue university or trade school, all while receiving the ongoing support they need to thrive.
